These terms govern your use of ridgefox.com.au, operated by JR Digital Services Pty Ltd (ABN 15 677 761 787) (“RidgeFox Roofing”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

What we do, in plain language

RidgeFox Roofing is a quote-matching service. We connect Adelaide homeowners and small-business owners requesting a roofing quote with a single trusted licensed local roofer working in their suburb. We do not perform roofing work ourselves. We do not supervise or direct the licensed roofer. The contract for the actual roofing job is between you and the roofer.

What you can expect from us

A written, itemised quote from the trusted local roofer for your suburb within one business day of a complete enquiry
No more than one operator quoting your job per enquiry — no panel rotation, no five-operator phone bombardment
Your data handled per our Privacy Policy
No charge to you, ever — we’re paid by the roofer when a job converts, never by the homeowner

What you agree to

By submitting a quote request:

You confirm you’re the property owner, an authorised representative, or a tenant with the owner’s permission to commission work
The information you provide is true to the best of your knowledge
You consent to the trusted local roofer for your suburb contacting you (phone / SMS / email) to provide the quote and any clarifying questions
You understand we’re a referral platform, not the roofer

Your right to multiple quotes

Australian Consumer Law section 18 affirms your right to obtain as many quotes as you wish before committing to a roofer. Nothing in these terms restricts that right. For any roofing job over $10,000, independent additional quotes are recommended — you are free to use them, and using them will not affect your relationship with us.

What we don’t promise

We don’t promise the roofer will be the cheapest in Adelaide. We promise they’re vetted, licensed, insured, and operating in your suburb.
We don’t promise zero defects in the roofer’s work. Work warranties are between you and the roofer per the consumer guarantees in Australian Consumer Law and any specific manufacturer warranty (e.g. Bluescope’s 36-year Colorbond paint warranty).
We don’t promise we can find a roofer for every suburb in every situation — if we don’t have a trusted operator for your suburb at the time of your enquiry, we’ll tell you and refund any costs (there are none, but the principle stands).

Insurance claims

For storm-damage and insurance work, we connect you with a roofer experienced in working with insurance assessors. We are not an insurance broker, not a public adjuster, and not legally able to negotiate with your insurer on your behalf. The conversation about excess, scope, and assessment runs between you, the roofer, and the assessor.

Asbestos roof replacement

In South Australia, asbestos cement roofing must be removed by a SafeWork SA-licensed asbestos removalist. Where your job involves asbestos, the lead is referred only to a licensed removalist and the work is completed under SA WHS regulations. RidgeFox Roofing does not employ or supervise any asbestos removalist; we connect the lead and the removalist completes the work.

Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

We provide the platform “as is”
We’re not liable for the roofer’s work — that’s covered by your direct contract with the roofer plus consumer-guarantee protections under Australian Consumer Law
We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform

Nothing in these terms purports to exclude any consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
