About RidgeFox Roofing

RidgeFox Roofing is a South-Australian-owned referral platform that connects Adelaide homeowners and small-business owners with a single trusted licensed local roofing contractor. We are not a roofing company ourselves. We don’t put crews on roofs, we don’t carry trade insurance, and we don’t quote jobs.

What we do is the boring, useful part: we make it easy to get a fast, honest, written quote from a roofer who is licensed for the work, insured for the work, and actually working in your suburb this week.

Why we exist

If you’ve ever tried to get a roofing quote in Adelaide, you’ll know the problem. Some roofers don’t return calls. Some quote-aggregator sites send your number to half a dozen sales-driven contractors who hammer you with calls and texts. Some hide pricing entirely behind a “request a quote” form and then up-sell you on the doorstep.

We built RidgeFox Roofing to do something different — and simpler. One short form. One trusted local roofer. One written, itemised quote inside a business day. You compare the line items on your quote against the market ranges we publish openly on our blog. You either say yes, or you don’t. No pressure, no panel rotation, and no five operators ringing you at dinner time.

How we make money

The roofer pays us a small introduction fee when they quote a job that goes ahead — never the homeowner. That keeps our incentive aligned with yours: we only get paid when you actually got a useful quote and chose to proceed. If the roofer’s quote is wrong for your job, you walk away and we don’t earn a thing.

Who we work with

Every roofer we connect leads to is verified for:

• Current South Australian builder’s licence (CBS) where licensing is required
• Public liability and workers’ compensation insurance
• Manufacturer accreditation for the materials they install (Colorbond, Bluescope, Boral, Bristile)
• Recent local references in the Adelaide market — not interstate fly-ins

For asbestos roof replacement, the work is referred only to SafeWork SA-licensed asbestos removalists. RidgeFox Roofing does not represent, employ, or supervise any asbestos removalist; we connect the lead and the removalist completes the work to SA WHS regulations.

Australian Consumer Law and your right to multiple quotes

Australian Consumer Law section 18 affirms your right as a consumer to gather as many quotes as you wish before committing to a contractor. You are encouraged to obtain additional quotes from other roofers — independent comparison is your right, and we recommend it for any job over $10,000.
